Top tips for lobbying councillors

• Keep it simple and relatively short
• Use your own words wherever possible
• Write about the bits that worry you the most
• Do NOT mention property prices – this cannot be taken into account and may switch the councillor off to your other points
• If there is more than one person in the household, it is worth writing each person writing their own letter, if you can bear it!
